The current camera mount design is good for most detectors. It does require a screw driver to install and or to adjust the position. This usually is not an issue. I have not moved mine on the T2 in over a year. The 360 degree swivel tripod head gives great adjustablilty of the camera to get that perfect recording angle.
Some one wanted a camera mount to fit the XP Deus. If you clamp something on the Deus shaft permanently, you will not be able to collapse the Deus for transport. I like the fact that you can quickly collapse the Deus down to such a small size.
So I designed this clam shell type camera mount that you can loosen very quickly which will allow the Deus shaft to collapse as designed.
Now if I could just get my hands on a Deus so I can test it out....
