Many people hunt the beach in the evening, and I find myself needing a flashlight as I hunt deeper into the evening in an attempt to escape the extreme heat we are having.
There are plenty of cheap shaft adapters for cheap flashlights. but those do not give the adjustability needed.
They normally can twist in one axis only. For detecting, we need to be able to point the light where ever it is needed.
For instance, you may need the flash light pointing to the center of the coil, ahead of the coil, or angled to the side to illuminate the target area you dig.
I find headlamps annoying as they flop around and send the light beam bouncing around.
I already make camera mounts for virtually every machine regardless of shaft configuration.
Why not utilize the camera mount. Mount a camera or smart phone to it during the day to video, unscrew it at night and screw on a high quality plash light....hmmm... I've never seen a tripod mountable flash light. So I invented it.
Here is a video that covers this idea from conception, design, 3d printing, and testing it out.
I will be offering good deals on bundled camera mounts with flash lights and or phone cradles or Gopro frames. Stay tuned.
